About Vivekananda Family Camp
Welcome
Vivekananda Family Camp was established in 1979.
For over 4 decades, Vivekananda Family Camp has offered a unique blend of fun, excitement, friendship, culture, traditions, and spiritual education over a 6-day immersive experience.
At Vivekananda Family Camp, our main mission is to celebrate and teach our family values, traditions, culture, and Dharmic way of life. But most of all, have an awesome and fun time at Camp!
Vivekananda Family Camp is designed for both adults and children. Children are typically in grades 1 to grade 12. Adults are typically parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles of attending children.
Our attendees hail from CT, MA, NH, RI, NY, PA. We also periodically get attendees from TX, NC, CA.
Each day is filled with exciting activities, arts & crafts, waterfront, outdoor games, and educational periods.
Our Organizing Committee
Our committee is comprised of dedicated and committed volunteers who strive to bring an exciting, fun, and educational program every year. Committee members reside all over the Northeast.
We meet frequently and regularly throughout the year to plan for all the activities.
